ECHILD Data Catalogue Update: Expanded Metadata Coverage

We are excited to announce that version 3.0 of the ECHILD Data Catalogue is now live! This update addresses previous gaps by adding missing metadata for several key datasets, improving transparency and usability for researchers.

The following datasets now include complete metadata:

• Emergency Care Data Set (ECDS)

• Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Data Set (MHLDDS)

• Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS)

• Maternity Services Data Set (MSDS)

• Community Services Data Set (CSDS)

• Birth Notification Data

• ONS Birth Registration Data

The ECHILD team will continue to make regular updates to the Data Catalogue to ensure researchers have comprehensive knowledge of the variables within the ECHILD database.
